Cake Tinz n Thingz will endeavour to have your parcel ready to post within 24 hrs of receiving payment Monday to Friday where possible; except where the order is received after 12noon on Fridays or Saturday / Sunday

We utilise the services of Australia Post to deliver our parcels where you will be issued a tracking number and require a signature on receipt. Unfortunately it is not possible to guarantee delivery times so you need to allow 3-7 working days for delivery. Regional areas of Australia will take longer. If you require your package urgently please contact us immediately to organise priority postage. All express post parcels are considered priority postage and we will endeavour to process these orders on the day of payment if payment is received before 12noon.

Cake Tinz n Thingz takes every care to package the items securely to reduce the risk of damage or breakage but will not take responsibility for packages lost or damaged in transit. Please note that the sending of edible sugar flowers and decorations is done at the total responsibility of the buyer.

If the package has not been delivered after 7 days of dispatch, please contact Cake Tinz n Thingz with your parcel tracking information. Please ensure any special instructions for delivery are be noted in the comments field at check-out or told to the staff at Cake Tinz n Thingz.

Freight

For orders requiring delivery to a specific address, a flat fee will be automatically applied at the time the order is placed to cover courier costs. As the order is being processed by Cake Tinz n Thingz, if the cost to courier the order is greater than the automatic flat fee, you will be contacted to discuss the additional freight costs.  At this point the order can be adjusted to reduce the freight cost to equal the flat fee, or additional payment can be made for the additional freight costs. The agreement by you of this process is listed on the checkout screen at the time the order is placed.

Quality and Maintenance of Goods

At Cake Tinz n Thingz we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and services. It is important to remember, however, that most food items are perishable and may react to temperature conditions, particularly cake, chocolate and fresh items, which, as a result may affect life of the product.

We recommend, if you are not familiar with the correct temperatures for the food types or specific produce, that you contact us for further information. Once delivery has occurred, quality and maintenance of the produce is your responsibility.

Online orders placed on Saturday and Sunday

ALL orders placed after 12noon on Friday and at any time of day on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on the following working day.

We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or Australian Public holidays unless alternative arrangements have been made.

Delivery

We currently only ship our products within Australia only

Anyone at the Delivery Address who receives the goods will be taken to have been authorised to receive the goods by you.

It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. If you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.

Additional items to an existing un-shipped order

Unfortunately, additional items cannot be added to an existing unshipped order. Should you wish to purchase additional items, you will need to place a new order for those additional items.

Non-Delivery of order

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Cake Tinz n Thingz if an order does not arrive. Once we learn an order has not arrived by the due date, we will lodge enquiries with the courier to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible.

As a guide only, our couriers attempt to deliver to addresses between 9am and 5pm.
However, unfortunately, we are unable to give a guaranteed time of delivery.

Without limiting the operation of any other Terms of Use, we will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from a late delivery or for loss or damage arising after delivery has taken place and you agree that late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle you to cancellation of an order
